The company said Thursday that the sale of the popular WITBECK appliance set was the first in the company’s history.
The automaker said that the sales surge was part of a larger push to become a major seller of home appliances.
The WITBUCH was announced at a news conference earlier this month.WITBUCO was designed for the busy professional who wants a small, reliable appliance that can be used at home but also at work, in the car or at home.
It was created with a mission of being small and easy to use, according to the company.
Witbeads can be purchased for about $200 to $250, and can include lights, switches, refrigerators, air conditioners, microwaves, a dishwasher, dishwasher sink, a washing machine and more.
