A new survey from Axios found that the e-commerce giant is the biggest seller of home appliances in the U.S. This means that Amazon is now the third largest seller in the appliance industry after home improvement retailers Lowe’s and Home Depot, and it’s also the second largest seller of household appliances in America after Lowe’s.
This is in spite of a number of factors, including the fact that the U, at the moment, doesn’t have a big enough penetration of home automation devices, like the Amazon Echo Dot.
But even if the number of Amazon sales of home appliance continues to rise, it’s still a long way from the huge surge of consumer electronics that saw Apple leapfrog the likes of Samsung, Apple and Dell.
The biggest problem for Amazon, though, is that consumers are just not willing to shell out big bucks for a smart home appliance.
Amazon’s latest smart home products, like Alexa, do a decent job of delivering information, but it’s a mixed bag of features and it can be difficult to use for long periods of time.
You can’t always tell what is actually being shown to you, and you’re often asked for permission to control certain aspects of your home and even the devices themselves.
The Amazon Echo can be annoying when you need to control an air conditioner, for example, and can be hard to control when you’re not home with the kids.
The best home automation device for the most part is the Echo Dot, but there are some other devices you can get that do a much better job at letting you control your thermostat and air conditioners, for instance.
Amazon says it plans to make smart home accessories available for purchase on its website for $59.99.
If you’re in the market for a home automation appliance, you’ll be able to find it for as little as $49.99 with Amazon’s Prime Now program.
If Amazon decides to launch its own smart home devices, you may be able pay less, but you’ll likely still end up with one of the cheaper devices available.
And if you’re looking to upgrade your smart home, the best home control devices for your needs may not be the best value.
